UK Military Facilities to Host Refugee Applicants in Bid to Terminate Hotel Accommodation
Several hundred refugee applicants may be housed in defense installations as the government seeks to phase out the reliance of hotel accommodations.
Talks are in progress regarding the utilization of two locations - one in Scotland and the other in the south of England - for housing for 900 male individuals.
The Prime Minister has ordered Domestic Affairs and Defense Department representatives to speed up work to identify suitable defense facilities.
The ruling party has pledged to eliminate the use of refugee hotels, which have cost substantial taxpayer money and emerged as a central issue for immigration opposition demonstrations.
Under Consideration Defense Facilities
Migrants may be placed in the Cameron military facility in Inverness and Crowborough military training facility in the southern county by the end of next month.
Commercial facilities, temporary accommodation and previously unused facilities are also being examined for potential use.

Authoritative figures indicated that every facility would meet safety regulations.
"We are deeply troubled at the level of unauthorized immigrants and refugee lodging facilities."

Current Shelter Figures
Around 32 thousand asylum seekers are at this time being housed in hotel facilities, representing a reduction from a peak of more than 56,000 in last year.
A current assessment found that billions of government revenue had been "wasted" on migrant shelter.
Earlier Military Site Utilization
Two ex-armed forces locations - the Wethersfield facility in southeastern England and Napier Barracks in southeastern England - are already being utilized to house individuals seeking protection after being opened under the former leadership.
The government leader stated on the situation, indicating: "The government is resolved to shut down each temporary accommodation facility. It's difficult to express how troubled and alarmed we are that we inherited a challenge as significant as this by the former leadership."
