Helicopter Twirls Out of Control into Palm Fronds at Well-Known Southern California Coast
A chopper soaring near a popular coastal shoreline suddenly began spiraling out of control, finally dropping height and smashing into a line of palm fronds as beachgoers looked on.
Footage uploaded online show the aircraft commencing to spiral over the beach then falling near the border of the coast, where it gets stuck amidst palm trees and a steps adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.
First Aid Information
Emergency responders said five people were taken to hospital comprising two individuals who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the accident on Saturday.
Three persons on the road were harmed. Information on their wounds were still under review.
What led to the incident was still under investigation.

The department mentioned the helicopter was connected to an regular “Cars and Copters” fundraising event scheduled for the following day.
